The L’Orpailleur winery is in Uvrier, between Sierre and Sion, and has been managed by Frédéric Dumoulin since its creation in 1999.
In its range of wines, you can find Ermitage and Sauvignon blanc among the whites, as well as blended wines such as Or jaune, a Sauvignon and Chardonnay blend. Among the reds, the Pinot Noir and the Syrah are fine examples of high-quality wines.
The winery has earned the “Grand Cru Ville de Sion” label, used for wines that satisfy certain quality criteria, and whose vines grow in the Sion region.
