With a low yield and significant sun exposure, this variety produces superior-quality wines with a strong character that can be recognised by their spicy notes and blackcurrant flavour, and their excellent length in the mouth.
A little secret about Syrah: when you taste this variety, you may be surprised by the aromas of black pepper.A grape variety from the Côtes-du-Rhône, Syrah has been grown in Valais since 1926.
