Flaction Vins SA

Sitting in the little village of St-Pierre-de-Clages, Flaction Vins owns several hectares of vines in the Sierre region, where it mainly grows Arvine, a native grape variety.

Cédric Flaction vinifies the product of ten hectares sited in an area that runs from Sierre to Saillon. This means that he works a number of plots located in terroirs that are characterised by their immense geological diversity. The grape varieties grown in the Sierre region are Arvine, Johannisberg and Païen.

The winemaker's philosophy is clear: he enjoys very dry wines, but that doesn’t rule out subtlety. Flaction constantly seeks to produce authentic wines that are characteristic of the grape varieties they derive from. As wine journalist Paul Vetter writes of him, he produces the wines that he likes to drink and isn't about to be swayed by the vagaries of fashion.
