Humagne Blanche is one of the grape varieties that are native to Valais.
Historically renowned for producing enormous quantities of grapes on each vine, Humagne Blanche undergoes strict pruning by wine-growers.
Humagne Blanche is characterised by a very floral nose. In the mouth, it is complex with high acidity. A wine for cellaring.
A little secret about Humagne Blanche: for a long time, this wine was considered the ‘new mothers’ wine’, thanks to its high iron content. However, it contains the same iron levels as other wines – it’s an old wives’ tale, then.Discover this winery’s range of wines here.
