Originally from France, more specifically from Burgundy, Chardonnay was introduced in Valais in the 1920s.
Today, Chardonnay has become an international grape variety, present in every wine-producing country.
With its notes of flowers and white fruit, it adds freshness and adapts well to oak-barrel ageing.
