Chardonnay

The truly international grape variety.

Originally from France, more specifically from Burgundy, Chardonnay was introduced in Valais in the 1920s.

Today, Chardonnay has become an international grape variety, present in every wine-producing country.

With its notes of flowers and white fruit, it adds freshness and adapts well to oak-barrel ageing.

A little secret about Chardonnay: a variety that produces excellent wines, particularly in vineyards that are at higher altitudes or receive less sun.
