Cave Caloz - Miège

Standing in the centre of the village of Miège, Cave Caloz is a small business run by wine artisans who strive to work in a way that respects nature.

This family-run winery was founded in 1960 by Fernand Caloz, and is now run by the family’s third generation. They currently grow around 6 hectares of vines in the Coteaux de Sierre area.

What makes them special is their approach to producing organic wines – an example of their unusual working methods is their use of sheep to maintain certain vine plots, in place of chemicals.

This organic approach is reflected in the quality of the wines they offer.
