Weinschmiede - Salgesch

Situated in the village of Salgesch, the Cave Weinschmiede is a family business, with a friendly, enthusiastic approach.

Founded in 1959, the Cave Weinschmiede was bought by two brothers, Christian and Reinhard Schmid, in 1991. It currently grows 2 hectares of vines, two-thirds of which are in Salgesch and the remainder in Sierre.

Its particular feature concerns the arrangement of the vines, which are supported by dry-stone walls, something that always surprises visitors.
