The winery is renowned for its production of very fine wines that adhere to the values upheld by the Pfyn-Finges nature park.
Founded in 1950 by Franz-Joseph Mathier, this winery has been committed from the start to producing the typical Valais wines. Mathier’s granddaughter, Felizitas, is now blazing new trails, having become the first woman in Switzerland to gain a Master's certificate in oenology.
