Cave des Bernunes - Sierre

A few minutes away from the town of Sierre, in a completely unspoilt, natural countryside setting, Cave des Bernunes is a veritable paradise for wine tourists.

This winery was founded in 1987 by Nicolas Zufferey in Chippis, and currently grows around 10 hectares of vines, divided among 3 areas that are emblematic of the Sierre region: Bernunes, Ormy and Miège.

Since 1994, Cave des Bernunes has enjoyed a fabulous architectural setting, in the heart of the vineyard midway between Sierre and Salgesch. The building, a model of skilful integration, houses the wine cellar, a reception area and tasting area, and the vinification centre (where the wine is aged in either tanks or barrels).

Through its association of specific plots with an established terroir, a professional reception centre, an unspoilt landscape of vines, and excellent wines, Cave des Bernunes is a real reference point in the promotion of Sierre, Valais and the region's wines.
