Located in the centre of the village of Salgesch, the Adrian & Diego Mathier Nouveau Salquenen winery stands out for the exceptional quality of its wines. In fact, in the Grand Prix du Vin Suisse 2016, Diego Mathier found himself awarded the title of “Premier Vigneron Suisse de la Décennie” (top Swiss wine-grower of the decade).

Since 2001, the fourth generation of the Mathier family has been drawing on more than 600 years of tradition to grow 45 hectares of vines.

The commitment to quality of the Adrian & Diego Mathier Nouveau Salquenen winery is reflected in its many awards and in its restaurant Le Barrique, where visitors can taste a delicious range of local Valais produce and wines from its cellars.
